The Story Behind the Collaboration
Creators & Innovators is Vissla's standing invitation to the people who actually make surfing what it is. Rather than slap a logo on a blank, each drop hands the canvas to an artist, shaper or craftsman and lets their work set the tone, from hand-drawn graphics to materials chosen to match the maker. The result is a collection with a point of view: every print has a name behind it, and every garment is built to be worn hard rather than framed. The drops change as new collaborators come through, so no two seasons look quite the same. It runs on the same lower-impact organic, recycled and hemp fabrics as the rest of the range, so the art you are buying into tries to tread as lightly as the people who made it.
