Hooded Wetsuits: Deep-Winter Armour
When the water bites and the lineup empties, a hooded suit keeps you out there. Sealed hoods, warm limestone-based neoprene and watertight seams hold the heat in through the coldest, darkest months of the UK season. Pair one with cold water necessities, or browse the full wetsuit range.
Vissla Hooded Wetsuits: For the Coldest Sessions on the Calendar
Winter on this coast is not a marketing concept. It's real, it's cold, and a hooded suit is what lets you pretend otherwise. An integrated, sealed hood cuts the flush of cold water down the back of the neck, while warm limestone-based Super Stretch S-Foam and a Thermal Fever Fiber lining keep the heat where it belongs. The crowds thin, the water bites, and you're still out there in the warmest suits in the Vissla range.
Built for Deep Cold
A 5/4 hooded suit is the answer when a full suit stops being enough. GBS triple-glued blind-stitched seams and Neo 3.0 tape lock out every route the cold might take, and the hood seals the gap a separate hood leaves at the neck.
Choosing Your Hooded Suit
Hooded suits are about the coldest end of the UK calendar, so warmth and seal come first. A 5/4 build covers deep winter, when a 4/3 leaves you cold. The hood should sit close around the face without choking, and the suit wants a snug fit so no loose pocket flushes icy water. Pair it with booties and gloves from cold water necessities to seal the gaps. The Wetsuit Guide covers winter thicknesses, and the Wetsuit Size Chart gets the fit right.

Construction & Sustainability
The hooded suits are built on bluesign-approved limestone foam and Recycled Ridiculous Rubber, sealed with GBS triple-glued, blind-stitched seams and Neo 3.0 tape, and lined with fast-drying thermal fibre. A dope-dyed anti-fade jersey holds its colour, every suit carries a one-year seam and neoprene warranty, and the Stoke Exchange recycling programme takes it back at end of life.
