7 SEAS WETSUITS
7 Seas: The Everyday Wetsuit
A superbly tailored, top-of-the-line suit at an approachable price. The inside thermal lining means no restriction of movement and a faster drying time, and limestone-based neoprene keeps the warmth in without the bulk. The 7 Seas is the perfect everyday suit, the one you'll reach for from the first spring sessions straight through the cold heart of a UK winter.
Vissla 7 Seas Wetsuits: The Everyday Workhorse
The 7 Seas doesn't ask for your attention, and that's exactly the point. It's the suit for the unglamorous majority of your surfing life: the grey Tuesday, the post-work paddle, the session you won't photograph but will remember. Warm limestone-based Super Stretch S-Foam, a quick-drying Thermal Fever Fiber lining and GBS triple-glued seams keep the cold out, at a price that leaves something over for the trip. It's the cornerstone of the Vissla wetsuit range, and for most surfers it's the only suit they think about all year.
What Makes the 7 Seas Different
It's the rare everyday suit that doesn't cut the corners you'd notice. Real stretch, real warmth and a fast-drying lining, built on bluesign-approved limestone foam that runs roughly 200g lighter on CO2 than petroleum neoprene, and made to take a winter of abuse. Want more flex? The High Seas steps up.
The Vissla Wetsuit Range
- High Seas — our most flexible performance suit.
- New Seas V-Zip — the easy chest-opening entry suit.
- Natural Seas — neoprene-free, bio-based warmth.
- Hooded Wetsuits — deep-winter armour.
- Spring Suits — for the warm-water window.
Choosing Your 7 Seas
The main decision is water temperature. A 3/2 is your spring and autumn all-rounder, a 4/3 is the winter standard most UK surfers live in, and a hooded 5/4 handles the deepest cold. The fit should sit snug, with no loose pockets at the lower back. Use the Wetsuit Size Chart to dial it in, and the Wetsuit Guide for thicknesses and seasons.
Construction & Sustainability
The 7 Seas is built on Recycled Ridiculous Rubber and limestone S-Foam from bluesign-approved mills, with GBS triple-glued, blind-stitched seams holding the panels watertight and a dope-dyed anti-fade jersey that keeps its colour. Each suit carries our one-year seam and neoprene warranty, and when it's surfed out the Stoke Exchange recycling programme keeps it out of landfill.
