Natural Seas: Warmth With a Conscience
The Natural Seas is what happens when a wetsuit develops a conscience and somehow surfs better for it. Built with neoprene-free, plant-rooted bio-foam rather than petroleum, it's every bit as warm and stretchy as the suits it quietly outperforms. See how it compares across the wetsuit range, or read the materials story.
Vissla Natural Seas Wetsuits: The Eco Suit That Still Surfs
Recycled linings, solvent-free lamination, the whole virtuous list. The Natural Seas is built on neoprene-free Ocena NaturalPrene bio-foam, a petroleum-free rubber that feels like a high-end limestone suit and functions as a small apology to the ocean you're about to paddle into. It's the choice for surfers who think about where their gear comes from and won't give up performance to do it. Read the full eco-neoprene story for the detail.
What Makes the Natural Seas Different
Natural bio-foam replaces conventional neoprene, recycled fibres line the inside and the lamination skips the nastier solvents. GBS triple-glued seams keep it watertight, and a dope-dyed anti-fade jersey holds its colour. The result is genuinely warm, genuinely stretchy, and a lot easier on the conscience. The Vissla Wetsuit Range
- 7 Seas — the everyday all-rounder.
- High Seas — our most flexible performance suit.
- New Seas V-Zip — the easy chest-opening entry suit.
- Full Suits — full-length warmth across the line.
- Spring Suits — for the warm-water window.
Choosing Your Natural Seas
The bio-foam runs as warm as our limestone rubber, so the same UK temperature guide applies. A 3/2 suits spring and autumn, a 4/3 is the year-round winter standard, and a hooded 5/4 carries the coldest months. Get the fit snug so there are no pockets at the lower back, and pick the chest-zip entry for a watertight seal. The Wetsuit Guide runs through thicknesses, and the Wetsuit Size Chart gets the fit right.
Construction & Sustainability
This is the most considered build in the line. The NaturalPrene foam is petroleum-free, the linings are recycled fibres, and the panels are bonded with solvent-free lamination and GBS triple-glued, blind-stitched seams. Each suit is backed by our one-year seam and neoprene warranty, and when it's surfed out the Stoke Exchange recycling programme takes it back instead of landfill.
