Vissla Caps & Hats: The Last Thing You Grab

A cap is the easiest piece of kit to take for granted and the first one you miss on a bright day. Ours run from structured trucker caps to soft 5-panels and bucket hats, made with recycled and organic materials where possible and built to survive the boot of the car all summer. Materials & Footprint

Where we can, our caps are cut from recycled and organic cotton and acrylic rather than virgin fibres, which keeps the footprint lighter without giving up the structure a good cap needs. Recycled mesh keeps the trucker panels breathable on hot days, while organic-cotton crowns hold their form through salt, sweat and a season of being stuffed into a bag. It's a small piece of the same lower-impact thinking behind our sustainable boardshorts and organic tees, and part of our wider To Protect & Surf commitment. None of it changes the job a cap has to do, but it does mean the easiest piece of kit you own pulls a little more weight off the coast you wear it on.
