Vissla Long Sleeve Shirts & Flannels: Soft, Warm, Honest Fabrics

When the mornings turn cold, the flannel comes out. Ours are brushed soft and built warm, in organic cotton, hemp and recycled fibres, cut to layer over a tee or wear on its own against the wind. Equal parts surf check shirt and winter staple, they sit at the heavier end of our Shirts & Flannels range and do the work the short sleeve shirts can't once summer's gone.

The layer you'll live in from autumn onward.

A flannel is rarely the only thing you're wearing, and ours are cut with that in mind, room to go over a tee or a long sleeve tee without bunching, soft enough that it doesn't feel like armour. When it's properly cold, add a jacket over the top and you're set for the dawn check and the drive home alike.

      Styles

      • Brushed Flannels: The cold-half staple, soft and warm, broken in from the first wear and built to last more than one winter.
      • Long Sleeve Surf Shirts: Lighter weaves for milder days, within the wider Long Sleeve Shirts set.
      • Eco Builds: Lower-impact versions sit in Eco Shirts, made from organic and recycled fibres.
      • Warmer-Day Cover: Swap to Short Sleeve Shirts when the sun returns and the layers come off.

      Benefits

      • Brushed & Warm: Soft flannels for the cold half of the year, with a hand-feel that only improves with age.
      • Eco Fabrics: Organic cotton, hemp and recycled fibres chosen for warmth and longevity.
      • Easy Layering: Over a tee or solo against the wind, with room cut in for what's underneath.
      • Hard-Wearing: Built to last more than one winter and soften, not thin, with each wash.

      Fabric & Care

A flannel earns its place by surviving the season, so the cloth has to be honest. Brushed organic cotton holds warmth against the chest, hemp adds the durability to take a winter of hard wear, and recycled fibres bring structure without the footprint of virgin synthetics. Wash cool and line dry to keep the brushed face soft and the colour deep, and it'll see you through years of dawn checks. The same eco thinking runs through our Eco Shirts.
