SHIRTS & FLANNELS
Vissla Shirts & Flannels: From the Line-Up to the Pub
Short-sleeve surf shirts for warm days, soft flannels for cold ones, all built with the same eco-minded fabrics. Organic cotton, hemp and recycled fibres in cuts that work on the coast and everywhere it leads. Reach for a short sleeve camp collar in summer, a brushed long sleeve flannel when it turns, or the wider eco shirts range year-round.
Vissla Men's Shirts & Flannels: Easy Layers, Honest Fabrics
A shirt should do more than one job. Ours run from breezy short-sleeve camp collars for summer to brushed flannels warm enough for a winter dog walk, built from organic cotton, hemp and recycled fibres. Wear them open over a tee or buttoned against the wind. The same surf-led prints and clean solids that run through the rest of the range, applied to a more structured layer that reads as easily in town as it does on the coast.
Short Sleeve vs Flannel: Which One When
It comes down to weather. A lightweight short-sleeve woven keeps the camp-collar look without the heat, ideal for warm months and travel. A flannel brings the warmth, from light brushed cotton for shoulder season to heavier, harder-wearing weaves for proper cold. Most wardrobes want one of each, and the eco builds in both live together in our Eco Shirts edit.
Vissla Shirt Styles
- Short Sleeve Shirts: Camp collars, prints and solids in lightweight wovens for warm days and beach destinations, easy to throw on over a tee.
- Long Sleeve Shirts & Flannels: Brushed, soft and warm, from shoulder-season layers to grab-an-axe winter flannels that earn their keep all season.
- Eco Shirts: Organic, hemp and recycled-fibre builds with sustainability designed in from the fibre, not bolted on at the end.
Benefits of Vissla Shirts
- Eco Fabrics: Organic cotton, hemp and recycled fibres throughout, chosen for feel and longevity.
- Year-Round Layers: Light shirts for summer, warm flannels for winter, one range covering the lot.
- Surf-Led Style: Relaxed cuts and original prints drawn straight from the water, never boxy for the sake of it.
Fabric & Care
These shirts are made to be worn hard and washed often, so the fabrics are chosen to take it. Hemp and organic cotton break in rather than wear out, softening with each wash while holding their shape, and the recycled fibres blended through add durability without the petrochemical footprint of virgin synthetics. A cool wash and a line dry keeps the colour in the prints and the structure in the collar for years, not seasons. It's the same lower-impact thinking behind our Eco Tees.
