VISSLA WETSUITS
Vissla Wetsuits: Warmth, Stretch and Less Waste
From grey winter mornings to optimistic summer dawns, Vissla wetsuits are built to keep you in the water longer. Limestone S-Foam neoprene, fast-drying Thermal Fever Fiber linings and GBS sealed seams come together across a full range of warmths and entry systems, with eco-minded construction throughout. Need maximum heat? The hooded wetsuits are built for the coldest part of the calendar.
Vissla Men's Wetsuits: Built for Cold Atlantic Sessions
A Vissla wetsuit is made to do one thing above all: keep you surfing when the water turns cold. We build around warm, stretchy limestone-based neoprene, line it with a quick-drying thermal layer, and seal the seams to keep the cold where it belongs. The range runs from light summer suits to deep-winter hooded armour, so there's a suit for every part of the UK calendar.
What Makes Vissla Wetsuits Different
Warmth, flex and a lighter footprint in the same suit. Our limestone-based Super Stretch S-Foam replaces much of the petroleum in conventional rubber and runs roughly 200g lighter on CO2 per suit, the Thermal Fever Fiber linings use recycled fibres, and the fits are cut by surfers who get cold.
Vissla Wetsuit Ranges
- 7 Seas: The everyday workhorse, warm, stretchy and well-priced. For most surfers it's the only suit they think about all year.
- High Seas: The performance end. Our lightest, stretchiest rubber for surfers who notice the difference.
- New Seas (V-Zip): The clever-entry suit. A chest-opening V-Zip that seals against flushing and goes on without a fight.
- Natural Seas: The eco suit, on neoprene-free bio-foam for warmth with a conscience and full performance.
- Hooded Wetsuits: Deep-winter armour with a sealed hood for the coldest sessions.
Choosing Your Wetsuit
Three things decide the right suit: water temperature, how you like to get in, and fit. For UK water a 3/2 covers spring and autumn, a 4/3 is the year-round winter standard, and a hooded 5/4 handles the deepest cold. Pick the entry system that suits you, a sealed chest zip, a flush-free V-Zip or a zip-free top-entry, and get the fit snug with no gaping at the lower back. The Wetsuit Guide walks through thicknesses and seasons, and the Wetsuit Size Chart gets the fit right first time.
Construction & Sustainability
Every suit is built on bluesign-approved limestone foam and Recycled Ridiculous Rubber, with GBS triple-glued blind-stitched seams and Neo 3.0 tape sealing out the flush. The dope-dyed anti-fade jersey holds its colour through a hard winter, and each suit carries a one-year seam and neoprene warranty. When a suit reaches the end of the line, our Stoke Exchange recycling programme keeps it out of landfill. Read the eco-neoprene story for the detail behind the build.
