What is the difference between 7 Seas, High Seas, Natural Seas, and New Seas U-Zip wetsuits?

7 Seas is the daily-driver line in 100% Super Stretch S-Foam limestone neoprene with Thermal Fever Fiber lining. High Seas is the performance line using Recycled Ridiculous Rubber for maximum flex. Natural Seas is 100% neoprene-free using Ocena bio-based foam. New Seas U-Zip uses a chest-opening U-Zip closure that combines chest-zip warmth with back-zip ease of entry.

How should a Vissla wetsuit fit?

A wetsuit should fit snug across the chest, shoulders, and back with no air pockets. Measure chest circumference and total height, then check the Vissla size guide. A loose suit lets water flush in and out, killing warmth.

What zip system is best for a surf wetsuit?

Chest zip seals best against cold-water flush and is preferred for water below 60F. Back zip is easiest to put on and take off solo and is fine for warmer water. The U-Zip is a chest-opening hybrid that delivers chest-zip warmth with back-zip convenience.

What Makes Vissla Wetsuits Different

Warmth, flex and a lighter footprint in the same suit. Our limestone-based Super Stretch S-Foam replaces much of the petroleum in conventional rubber and runs roughly 200g lighter on CO2 per suit, the Thermal Fever Fiber linings use recycled fibres, and the fits are cut by surfers who get cold.

For UK water a 3/2 covers spring and autumn, a 4/3 is the year-round winter standard, and a hooded 5/4 handles the deepest cold. Every suit is built on bluesign-approved limestone foam and Recycled Ridiculous Rubber, with GBS triple-glued blind-stitched seams and Neo 3.0 tape sealing out the flush. The dope-dyed anti-fade jersey holds its colour through a hard winter, and each suit carries a one-year seam and neoprene warranty.
